En el extremo Sur del término municipal de Elx, sobre una impresionante franja dunar, se alza la playa de El Pinet. Se trata de un extenso pinar que tiene su prolongación natural por el sur en la costa de Guardamar y en el Parque Natural de las Salinas de Santa Pola por el norte. A pesar de ser una playa rústica, ofrece un importante número de servicios para el visitante.
