Al Noroeste del término municipal de Elche se encuentra la playa de los Arenales del Sol. En esta playa se pueden encontrar dunas embrionarias, móviles, semifijas, fijas, e incluso dunas fósiles. Su arena fina y dorada y la gran cantidad de servicios que ofrece a sus visitantes, entre los que se encuentran el acceso para personas de movilidad reducida, hacen de éste uno de los arenales más visitados de la zona.
